Get Involved in AVPQ  -   How?

thanks to Brisbane artist Teresa Jordan

There are many reasons why your involvement with AVPQ is worthwhile.

Our starting point is that we all experience conflict of some sort in our lives -

  • at work,
  • at school,
  • between neighbours,
  • within families.

AVPQ can help you to deal with that conflict in several ways:

Help Through AVPQ
  • AVPQ helps you to identify potentially difficult situations and deal with those situations in creative, constructive and cooperative ways.
  • Becoming an AVP facilitator is an intrinsically rewarding way to contribute to the creation of a kinder, fairer world.
  • By getting involved with AVPQ, you will meet like-minded people, gaining hope and strength from the knowledge that many others share your interest in nonviolence.
  • Those who participate in our workshops gain personally, socially and often professionally. They also make new friends and have fun in the process!
  • AVPQ also gives access to a network of people working towards nonviolent conflict resolution in Queensland, throughout Australia and around the world.
  • AVPQ is founded on the principle of volunteerism. You only get as involved as YOU want to.

You can get involved by:
